We are certified ISO 9001:2000 compliant. You’ve probably heard this term before or seen it on a banner strung across the façade of a building. But what does it mean? And how does it help our customers?
Simply put, it is a management system that ranks customer satisfaction as the most important factor in decision-making. Every company is different and so our management system was designed specifically for Aylmer-Must in order to comply with all applicable ISO standards and certified by Intertek Systems who are also tasked with auditing our system regularly.
The system consists of 30 different forms that are used to document and track all relevant information through the various stages of our nursing care services. This, in turn, allows us to monitor and improve what we do on a daily basis.
A sample of our Quality Forms:
- Nursing Evaluation: A report prepared by a Registered Nurse that details the current state of a patient’s general health with specific focus on the condition(s) that initiated the request for care.
- Nursing Care Plan: Details specific patient needs and caregiver tasks and is signed by all attending caregivers.
- Nurse’s Daily Notes: An ongoing diary of care notes to be completed by each caregiver to facilitate the flow of accurate information from shift to shift and from caregiver(s) to the Care Manager.
- Non-conformance Report: Details a specific incident where someone did not follow the proper procedure in a particular task and obliges a follow-up to ensure that the situation has been rectified and that it won’t reoccur.
